Continuing Education

Licensees including Somerset Wilbert and Turner Vault hosted a con-ed class with sponsorship funds from the WMA. With the new program, WMA will cover the speaker fee and travel expenses up to $2500.

Conduct a Con Ed Class

We will provide:

  • the speaker fees and expenses (post-event reimbursement of up to $2,500 to 2 members per region per year)

You are responsible for:

  • hosting the event
  • applying for the CEU credit approvals
  • driving registrations
  • submitting expense report and invoice with receipts
  • sending us photos

Program detail:

A Continuing Education Program has been developed to assist WMA members in providing effective and innovation continuing education to their clients. This program includes a list of speakers, their topics and fees.

Due to the number of members who may wish to participate, the program is currently on a first-come first-serve basis. In addition, members may not be eligible for reimbursement in consecutive years. This program is subject to change at any time, so please seek approval from the WMA prior to incurring expenses.

The WMA anticipates the speaker list will change over the years as new speakers are discovered. See current speaker list below. In addition, the fees the speakers charge may change. The WMA recommends that members reconfirm expenses and fees prior to booking speakers.

Quality Control

WMA has a QC committee that wants to hear if you are experiencing any type of quality issue with industry products. You might think something is small and isolated, but we encourage you to report it so we can see if others are having similar issues. The WMA QC committee will work to address problems with the vendor on the licensees behalf.
